From Refugee Camp to Financial Freedom with NFTalk
I spent 11 years in a refugee camp in Jordan after fleeing war. Opportunities were scarce, and most aid went to basic food and shelter.
I loved drawing Arabic calligraphy and Islamic geometric designs on discarded cardboard. An NGO volunteer noticed my art and told me about NFTalk.
Using their donated tablet, I digitized my designs and uploaded them as “Arabic Calligraphy Templates” and “Islamic Geometry Backgrounds.”
In my first month, I earned $120 – the equivalent of two months of aid stipends. Over the next year, earnings reached $9,000. I used it to rent an apartment outside the camp, register for a local university graphic design program, and buy better art supplies.
NFTalk showed me that no matter where you are, your creativity has global value.
